You can certainly dish it out for company on these creations! A little E6000, a little paint, candlesticks, plates. glasses and a little creativity make great food display stands.
Be Grateful – made with Thanksgiving in mind, but appropriate for any time.
Count Your Blessings. Name them one by one….
I didn’t alter this vintage inspired plate. But I did spray paint the vase it’s sitting on! It makes a fun stand begging for homemade cookies!
This was my sister in law’s idea – she found inspiration on Pinterest, then she hosted a private Pinterest party in the studio. The ladies brought dishes and I provided some dishes. We combined them and attached a spoon to the back. Slip the spoon into a small piece of pipe and it makes beautiful garden art. I love when my customers come to me with ideas like this!
I blame my friend for my addiction to chicken salad. Her recipe calls for a specific brand of dressing that comes in these sweet little bottles. I couldn’t bear to throw them away. Then I ran across this idea on Pinterest and voila….
Turn a charger into a chalkboard to display the evening meal. I wish I could eat at this house. Mine would probably have the name of a fast food restaurant on it!
Don’t look for this one to be for sale. It came home with me! It’s 5 pieces: a plate, a glass, a plate, a glass, and a plate with a metal handle on it. When combined in this clever way it looks like a vintage 3 tiered food serving plate. Time to plan a party so I can use my new food plate!
